Education Ministry warns of fake Tawjihi score-changing scams

Amman, August 10 (Petra) – The Ministry of Education warned on Monday
high school students and parents against fake Telegram accounts
claiming they can alter General Secondary Education Certificate
Examination (Tawjihi) exam scores for a fee, calling the offers
“fraudulent.”

The ministry stressed that its student data systems are airtight,
noting that strict official protocols make unauthorized grade changes
impossible.

The ministry urged students and parents not to share personal
information or send money to scammers, who exploit exam anxiety for
financial gain.

Coordinating with the Cybercrime Unit, officials are actively
tracking down the fake accounts to take legal action against those
responsible.

Tawjihi results will be released exclusively on official ministry
platforms today at 8 p.m. The ministry urged the public not to engage
with scam accounts and to report suspicious activity to law
enforcement.
