Amman, Aug. 22 (Petra) — Secretary-General of the Ministry of
Education and Human Resources Development Nawaf Ajarmeh underscored
Saturday the pivotal role teachers play in students’ educational
journey and in building a better future.
According to a ministry statement, Ajarmeh expressed confidence in
all stakeholders in the education process to establish and strengthen
a safe school environment that encourages learning and creativity,
contributing to improved educational outcomes and advancing national
development.
In a message to students, teachers, school principals, and education
field staff ahead of students’ return to schools on Sunday and the
start of the new academic year, Ajarmeh said teachers continue to
fulfill their mission with dedication and competence, accompanying
students throughout their educational journey, providing them with
support and encouragement, and helping them overcome challenges.
He said this reflects the standing and competence of Jordanian
teachers and the mission of education they carry.
“Knowledge and education are the true tools students possess to
achieve their ambitions, contribute to building their country and
serve their communities,” he added.
