Cairo, April 19 (QNA) – Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed the latest regional developments and coordination of joint efforts in a phone call on Sunday with his Pakistani counterpart, Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the call addressed efforts to advance the diplomatic track between the United States and Iran.
Both ministers expressed hope that the second round of negotiations would lead to understandings paving the way for a ceasefire, de-escalation, and an end to the conflict, stressing that dialogue and negotiation remain the only path to resolving the crisis.
They also agreed to continue coordination and consultations on relevant developments in support of regional security and stability. (QNA)
