Cairo, August 18 (QNA) – The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday announced that the Egyptian sailors detained in Iran’s Bandar Abbas Port since January have been released, with arrangements made for their safe return to Egypt.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the Egyptian interests section in Tehran had completed the sailors’ return procedures to Egypt, following the success of efforts made over the past several months to secure their release. (QNA)
