Cairo, April 6 (QNA) – Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held talks with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita and Estonian Parliament Speaker Lauri Hussar during two meetings in Cairo.
He also held telephone conversations with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul and his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand regarding regional developments and bilateral relations.
The discussions included exchange of views on several regional issues of common interest, including the escalating military tensions in the region and the dangerous repercussions.
In this regard, the Egyptian Foreign Minister reviewed efforts aimed at de-escalation and calming the situation in the region, stressing the need to continue the diplomatic track and dialogue to contain the dangerous situation the region is facing, in order to preserve regional security and stability.
