Cairo, October 4 (Petra) — Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly visited Jordan’s pavilion at the seventh “Our Heritage” Exhibition, which opened Thursday under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The event runs until October 11 and features participation from various Arab and other countries.
Madbouly was briefed on Jordan’s diverse range of traditional handicrafts showcased at the pavilion. The exhibit reflects the richness of Jordanian cultural heritage through items such as mosaics, pottery, hand embroidery, olive wood accessories and wire crafts.
President of the Jordanian Traditional Craftsmen Association Omar Tahat expressed pride in the visit and highlighted Jordan’s participation as part of efforts by the Ministry of Culture and the association to promote cultural exchange and regional cooperation among artisans.
Tahat emphasised the exhibition’s role in preserving Arab heritage, fostering collaboration and enhancing the visibility of traditional crafts on both regional and international levels.
