Cairo, March 05 (QNA) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized Thursday that Egypt remains committed to its mediation efforts to end the ongoing war in the region, warning that the continuation of the conflict will carry a hefty toll.
In a speech, President El-Sisi stated that Egypt has been keen to prevent this escalation because it knows well, from its own experience, that wars bring nothing but ruin, destruction, and harm to the interests and resources of peoples.
He further noted that the current war is the result of miscalculations and errors in judgment. (QNA)
