Doha, August 18 (QNA) – The Empowerment and Elderly Care Center “Ehsan,” one of the centers of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, concluded its summer program, organized by the Council of Elders in cooperation with several youth centers.
The program aimed to strengthen intergenerational communication, benefit from the experiences of older people, and promote their active role in society.
It featured a variety of cultural, social, awareness, and recreational activities that brought older people and younger generations together, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, values, and social heritage.
The center highlighted the importance of such initiatives in empowering older people and strengthening their community participation, while praising its cooperation with youth centers in expanding community initiatives and creating new opportunities for joint programs. (QNA)
