Dubai, June 3 (Petra) – Emirates Airline announced on Tuesday its intention to resume flights to the Syrian capital, Damascus, beginning July 16.
According to the newly released schedule, the Dubai-based carrier will operate three weekly flights initially, increasing to four flights per week starting August 2. Daily service is planned to begin in October.
The airline had suspended its operations to Damascus in 2012.
