Amman, August 13 (Petra) -Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) said power disruptions were “limited and merely isolated malfunctions,” thanks to its round-the-clock monitoring over the status of the Kingdom’s electricity grid, especially with the increased loads during the current heatwave.
In a press statement on Wednesday, the EMRC said the outages were “limited and represented individual cases, which were quickly addressed,” commending the field technical personnel’s efforts in this context.
The commission added that the monitoring and emergency unit continuously monitors all power networks nationwide and receives all citizen complaints via the 24-hour emergency number.
