Khartoum, April 5, 2026 (SUNA) — Minister of Energy Eng. Al-Mu’tasim Ibrahim Ahmed stressed the strategic role of national companies in fuel supply chains, from importation to distribution, ensuring availability and price stability, as fuel is critical to the national economy. During his inspection of Nile Petroleum Company headquarters in Khartoum, he highlighted the company’s role in bridging supply gaps and ensuring nationwide access to fuel, in line with ministry regulations on import control. He praised staff performance and urged further professional development to strengthen national contribution. General Manager of Nile Petroleum, Dr. Hisham Taj El-Sir, outlined the company’s capacity for fuel import operations, storage, and distribution, noting efforts to accelerate delivery from Al-Gaili, Madani, and Al-Houdi depots to all states.
