Amman, Mar. 1 (Petra) – Minister of Environment, Dr. Ayman Suleiman, on Sunday met with Kazakhstan Ambassador to Jordan, Talgat Shaldanbay, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in environmental fields, preserve natural resources, and expand the frameworks of joint work between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters, Suleiman called for strengthening bilateral coordination and cooperation with the Kazakh side on environmental issues of mutual interest.
Suleiman also expressed the necessity of exchanging technical expertise and implementing programs that support sustainability and environmental protection, in a bid to achieve the joint national goals in promoting sustainable development.
In turn, the Kazakh ambassador praised the “deep-rooted” bilateral relations, affirming his country’s readiness to expand cooperation in environmental fields and other sectors that serve common interests and support bilateral partnerships.
Both sides stressed the importance of boosting “continuous” dialogue and coordination between the two countries’ relevant authorities to develop joint environmental projects and initiatives, based on innovation and sustainability.
