Amman, Oct. 13 (Petra) – A European Union Delegation to Jordan, in cooperation with the College of Europe, launched a capacity-building program entitled “Strengthening the Capacities of Jordanian Public Administrations to Strengthen EU-Jordan Relations,” aimed at supporting relations and enhancing institutional cooperation between the two sides.
The program was launched during an event held in Amman on Monday and will continue on Tuesday, as part of the EU’s efforts to promote mutual understanding and strengthen cooperation with Jordanian public institutions.
The initiative brings together Jordanian officials and EU representatives to explore ways to advance joint action and exchange expertise through specialized sessions that shed light on EU decision-making mechanisms, institutional operations, and cooperation in foreign affairs.
In her opening remarks, Deputy Head of the EU Mission to Jordan Angela Martini said the program provides an important opportunity for Jordanian officials to deepen their understanding of EU mechanisms. She noted that the initiative contributes to enhancing mutual understanding and building stronger bridges of cooperation between Jordan and the EU.
