Brussels, July 22 (QNA) – European stock markets closed higher on Wednesday despite a rise in oil prices, as investors awaited earnings reports from several major companies across the region.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 index gained 0.6%, while Germany’s DAX rose 0.65%.
Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 1.24%, and France’s CAC 40 advanced 0.89%. (QNA)
