Brussels, August 19 (QNA) – European stock markets ended today’s trading mixed, following the release of inflation data in the UK and the eurozone, which showed an acceleration that was nevertheless in line with market expectations.
The pan-European STOXX 600 closed flat.
France’s CAC 40 in Paris fell 0.09 percent, while Germany’s DAX in Frankfurt declined 0.14 percent. Italy’s FTSE MIB in Milan dropped 0.75 percent.
Meanwhile, the UK’s FTSE 100 in London ended trading with a slight gain of 0.14 percent. (QNA)
