Five Lebanese soldiers wounded in Israeli strike on south Lebanon town

Beirut, August 2 (Petra) — Five Lebanese soldiers were wounded
Sunday in an Israeli strike on the town of Kafra in the Bint Jbeil
district of southern Lebanon, the Lebanese army announced.

The soldiers were hit while a military vehicle was escorting
residents in the town, according to a security official.

The security source said the Israeli military carried out explosions
in the towns of Hadatha, Tayyibeh and Kounine, with the blasts heard
across several areas of southern Lebanon.
