Khartoum, April 2, 2026 (SUNA) — Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohi-Eddin Salem on Wednesday received the Ambassador of Kuwait to Sudan, Dr. Fahd Mashari Al-Dhafiri.The Kuwaiti ambassador expressed his country’s appreciation for Sudan’s stance on the ongoing war in the Middle East, noting that Sudan’s position was clear, frank, strong, and reflected solidarity with Kuwait and other Arab peoples facing brazen attacks, despite the current hardships Sudan itself is experiencing. He added that Sudan’s position mirrors the traditional generosity and support Sudanese people are known for toward their brethren.He also affirmed Kuwait’s support and solidarity with Sudan during the upcoming reconstruction phase.Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation highlighted the strong relations between the two countries and their peoples, noting Kuwait’s long-standing history of humanitarian work and charitable initiatives.
