Paris, March 26 (QNA) – French Trade Minister Serge Papin said today that finance ministers, central bank governors, and energy ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) will discuss the release of strategic oil reserves during a meeting to take place next week.
Papin said in remarks that discussions will focus on the release of strategic reserves.
On March 11, members of the International Energy Agency agreed to use oil stockpiles to mitigate the impact of rising prices caused by the military escalation in the Middle East. (QNA)
