Amman, May 27 (Petra) — Grand Mufti of the Kingdom Ahmad Hasanat announced Tuesday that Wednesday will be the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah for the Hijri year 1446.
Based on a sighting, Thursday, June 5, will correspond to the Day of Arafah, and Friday, June 6, will mark the beginning of Eid al-Adha.
