Gaza, May 22 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that 107 people were killed and 247 others injured in the past 24 hours due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes.
Among the dead, three individuals were rescued but later succumbed to their injuries.
In its daily update, the ministry noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or lie in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to face severe challenges in reaching affected areas.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the death toll has climbed to 53,762, with the number of injured reaching 122,197.
The ministry also reported that between March 18 and May 22, 3,613 people have been killed and 10,156 injured, reflecting the sustained intensity of the Israeli attacks.
