Gaza Strip, Oct 1 (Petra) — Fifty-one Palestinians were killed and 180 wounded in the ongoing Israeli military assault across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
They included 4 deaths and 57 wounded people who were shot by Israeli troops at food aid distribution sites, raising the total number of “bread martyrs” to 2,580 and 18,930 injured, it said in its daily update of war casualties.
The latest figures took to 66,148 the death toll from Israel’s aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, and the total number of wounded rose to 168,716, it said.
