Gaza Strip, May 24 (Petra) — Some 79 Palestinians were killed and 211 injured in the last 24 hours in the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
That took to 53,901 the death toll from the aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, and the total number of injuries soared to 122,593, it said in its latest update of casualties.
It said many victims were under the rubble of buildings targeted by air strikes and bombardment, inaccessible by medical crews.
