Gaza, June 25 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Wednesday that 79 people were killed and 391 injured in the past 24 hours amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes across the enclave.
In its daily update, the Ministry said many victims remained under rubble or in areas inaccessible by ambulances and rescue teams.
The new casualties took the death toll to 56,156 and the total number of injuries to 132,239 from the Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, 2023. Of these, 5,833 fatalities and 20,198 injuries have been reported since Israel resumed its offensive on March 18 after a ceasefire.
The Ministry also said 33 civilians waiting for aid distribution points were killed and 267 injured, bringing total food casualties to 549 dead and more than 4,066 wounded.
