Riyadh, August 03 (QNA) – Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met on Monday with Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Abdulaziz Al Zouba, currently visiting Saudi Arabia, to discuss relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Yemen.
During the meeting, held at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh, the two sides reviewed the latest developments in Yemen and ongoing efforts to strengthen security and stability and support peace and development initiatives.
The GCC Secretary-General reaffirmed the Council’s unwavering support for all efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in Yemen. He also reiterated the GCC’s continued backing for humanitarian and relief efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, in coordination with regional and international partners. (QNA)
