Amman, Jan 27 (Petra) – The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday that Palestinian residents of Gaza should not be expelled, commenting on remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, who suggested that Jordan and Egypt should take in the people of Gaza.
According to Deutsche Welle, a spokesperson for the ministry said that Berlin aligns with the position of the “European Union, its Arab partners, and the United Nations,” emphasizing that the Palestinian people should not be expelled from Gaza, and that Gaza should neither be permanently occupied nor reoccupied by Israel.
