Amman, April 12 (Petra) – Global oil derivative prices increased during the first week of April compared to March, according to the weekly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The bulletin reported that the average price of 95-octane gasoline rose from $1,171 to $1,266 per ton, marking an increase of 8.1%.
The average price of 90-octane gasoline climbed from $1,090 to $1,190 per ton, up 9.2%. Diesel prices saw a significant surge, rising from $1,376 to $1,919 per ton an increase of 39.5%.
Kerosene prices increased, averaging $1,748 per ton compared to $1,502 per ton in March, a rise of 16.4%. Fuel oil recorded a modest increase, moving from $693 to $709 per ton, up 2.3%.
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices reached $788 per ton in April, compared to $541 per ton in March, reflecting a sharp increase of 45.7%.
The average price of Brent crude rose from $103 per barrel to $138 per barrel, representing an increase of 34%.
