Spot gold traded at $3,331.49 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery edged down by 0.1% to $3,375.40.
Market participants are closely watching remarks by Fed Chair Jerome Powell at the Jackson Hole symposium, scheduled for 21-23 August, which could provide clearer insights into the economic outlook and the central bank’s policy stance.
