Amman, Sept. 2 (Petra) – Minister of Government Communications, Dr. Mohammad Momani, on Tuesday discussed with World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Jordan, Dr. Iman Shanqiti, ways to cooperate in the communication and media fields, which would contribute to “effectively” delivering awareness messages to various segments of society.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to develop a media and communication plan based on national priorities in the health sector, aiming to “accurately” deliver information to citizens.
According to a ministry statement, this collaboration would support joint efforts to raise community awareness to address health challenges, mainly smoking.
