Doha, May 19 (QNA) – Bahrain’s handball team defeated Qatar 24–19 Tuesday at the Duhail Sports Hall during the 4th GCC Games (Doha 2026).
The loss is Qatar’s first in the tournament, following earlier wins against the UAE (28–20) and Kuwait (34–19).
Bahrain now leads the standings with 6 points and will face the UAE this Thursday.
Qatar remains in second place with 4 points and will play Saudi Arabia on Friday, aiming for a podium finish to defend their 2022 gold medal. (QNA)
