Amman, Aug. 11 (Petra) – Health Minister Ibrahim Bdour said on Monday the National Center for Epidemics and Communicable Diseases Control has a key role to enhance the national health security strategy.
During a visit to the center, the minister commended the technical and administrative staff for their efforts in combating and preventing diseases and boosting readiness to respond to epidemics. He stressed teamwork and capacity building in line with world-class standards.
Director of the center Adel Balbeisi spoke about the center’s future plans, stressing close cooperation with the ministry to meet public health strategy goals.
