Doha, February 28 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Saturday from HE Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
The call addressed the security developments in the region and their implications for regional and international peace and stability, with both sides stressing the importance of an immediate halt to the escalation and of giving priority to dialogue and diplomatic solutions to prevent sliding towards further tensions.
In this context, the Pakistani Prime Minister expressed the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s strong condemnation of the brutal Iranian attacks targeting the territories of the State of Qatar and the brotherly Gulf Arab states, underscoring Pakistan’s full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its readiness to support the State of Qatar in all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s stances and its support for the State of Qatar. (QNA)
