Doha, March 02 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received on Monday a phone call from HE the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Dr. Abiy Ahmed.
At the outset of the call, HE the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia inquired about the situation in Qatar following the Iranian attacks, stressing his country’s support for Qatar in these circumstances. He expressed his confidence in Qatar’s ability to deal with these developments and address their repercussions in a way that preserves its security and stability.
In turn, HH the Amir voiced his thanks and gratitude to HE the Ethiopian Prime Minister for his sincere feelings and solidarity, commending the close relations that unite the two friendly countries.
Both sides stressed the importance of adhering to the principles of constructive dialogue and diplomatic action as the best way to contain the crisis and preserve the region’s security and stability. (QNA)
