Doha, March 01 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received on Sunday a phone call from HE President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
At the outset of the call, HE the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania emphasized Mauritania’s solidarity and full support for the State of Qatar following the Iranian attacks, stressing that Mauritania stands by Qatar in all the measures it may take to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability.
In turn, HH the Amir voiced his thanks and appreciation to HE the President for his sincere fraternal stances, which embody the existing relations between the two fraternal countries.
Both sides stressed the need to stop the escalation and to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy as a means to resolve the current crisis, in order to promote regional and international security and stability. (QNA)
