Doha, March 11 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Wednesday from HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.
At the outset of the call, HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden voiced Sweden’s solidarity with the State of Qatar regarding the continued blatant Iranian aggression, stressing his country’s condemnation of this aggression. He also expressed his appreciation for the care and attention provided by the competent authorities in the State of Qatar to Swedish residents.
In turn, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the Prime Minister for Sweden’s solidarity and support for the State of Qatar and its people.
The two sides also discussed developments in the region and their repercussions on regional and international security and stability. They stressed the importance of de-escalation, prioritizing political solutions through dialogue and diplomatic means, and supporting international efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability and preserving regional and international peace.
