Amman, June 29 (Petra) – The Lower House of Representatives announced a financial support of JD100,000 to the national football team (The Nashama) following their qualification for 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The House took the decision came during a session held by its Executive Office on Sunday, headed by Speaker Ahmad Safadi.
Talking to the meeting, Safadi said this assistance comes within the framework of the House’s “keenness” to provide various forms of support to The Nashama team, who have made all Jordanians “proud after qualifying for the World Cup finals.”
The Executive Office also discussed a number of organizational measures related to the House’s work, in the presence of First Deputy Speaker Dr. Mustafa Khasawneh and other key MPs, representing various parliamentary blocs.
