Amman, Sept. 11 (Petra)– Lower House Speaker Mazen Al-Qadi, on
behalf of himself and members of the House, mourned the victims of a
tragic traffic accident that occurred on the Desert Highway, leaving
several people dead and others injured.
Al-Qadi expressed deep sorrow over the accident and extended his
sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims’ families and
relatives, praying that God grant the deceased His mercy and
forgiveness and give their families patience and solace.
He also wished the injured a speedy and full recovery, praying that
they be blessed with health and well-being.
Al-Qadi commended the Royal follow-up and directives of His Majesty
King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II to the
relevant authorities to exert every possible effort in dealing with
the accident and providing the necessary care to the injured.
He also praised the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, the
Public Security Directorate, Civil Defense teams and medical
personnel for their swift response and handling of the accident, as
well as for providing first aid to the injured and transporting them
to hospitals to receive the necessary medical care.
