Amman, Aug. 21 (Petra) — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Thursday implemented an airdrop operation to deliver aid to Gaza, with the participation of Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft, alongside airplanes from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, France, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Nearly 63 tonnes of food and relief aid were delivered to Gaza. This raises to 160 the number of airdrops conducted by the JAF since 27 July, while total airdrops conducted with international partners reached 385. A total of 785 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been airdropped by Jordan’s air force since then.
