Baghdad, March 2 (Petra) – Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, said there are efforts to end the crisis and prevent the expansion of confrontations in the region, while condemning attacks that targeted their countries.
According to a statement from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry on Monday, Minister Hussein discussed the current situation by telephone with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who is the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in Qatar, with both emphasizing the necessity of stopping attacks immediately.
They emphasized the importance of preventing the region from being drawn into the chaos of this war. They called for collective action to de-escalate the situation and to create the right conditions for a resolution that would enhance regional security and stability.
