Baghdad, August 28 (QNA) – Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi met today with envoy of the Egyptian president and head of the intelligence service Hassan Mahmoud Rashad, who is on a visit to Baghdad.
According to the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office, al-Zaidi received a message from the Egyptian president pertaining to strengthening bilateral relations along with an official invitation for al-Zaidi to visit Egypt.
The meeting addressed several files and issues of mutual interest. Both sides emphasized the importance of coordinating positions and exchanging information and expertise to further strengthen bilateral ties and advance the shared interests of Iraq and Egypt. (QNA)
