Irbid, Dec. 30 (Petra) –Director of Health and Environmental Affairs Department at Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM), Yahia Omari, said the municipality warned 2,051 establishments within its boundaries during last November.
In a statement to “Petra” Tuesday, Omari added that the municipality fined 400 entities for health violations within its boundaries, conducted a total of 2,823 field visits and closed 13 establishments.
Omari also indicated that the department received 36 complaints, which were all addressed, noting the department continues to intensify its monitoring campaigns.
Omari said the department issued 101 business license inspections.
