Amman, September 3 (Petra) – Government Communication Minister Mohammad Momani said Jordan rejects and condemns Israeli violation aimed at asserting sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and undermining the two-state solution.
In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Momani stated, “Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories,” adding that Israel’s actions constitute a clear violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.
“The West Bank remains occupied territory under international law and legitimacy. Israel is the occupying power,” Momani said, adding that the only path to lasting peace and stability lies in ending the occupation and establishing an independent, sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
