Gaza, June 15 (Petra) – At least 18 Palestinians were killed and more than 25 others wounded on Saturday as Israeli warplanes carried out intensive airstrikes on densely populated areas in the central and northern parts of the Gaza Strip.
Fifteen people were killed when Israeli aircraft bombed a residential block and a gathering of civilians in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, according to local health sources.
In a separate strike, three more Palestinians were killed and several others injured near Dar Al-Arqam School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.
The death toll is expected to rise as emergency crews continue to search for victims under the rubble.
