Occupied Jerusalem, April 7 (Petra) – Israeli authorities on Tuesday forced two Palestinian brothers to demolish their own homes in the town of Silwan, south of Al Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
In a statement, the Jerusalem Governorate said the brothers, Nader and Hatem Baydoun, were compelled to carry out the demolitions in the Al Bustan neighbourhood under the pretext of lacking building permits issued by the Israeli occupation municipality.
The two houses, with a combined area of approximately 88 square meters, housed 10 people.
