Damascus, August 23 (QNA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday detained a Syrian civilian in the village of Al Rafid in the southern countryside of Quneitra in southern Syria.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) an Israeli force comprising several military vehicles advanced west of Al Rafid village, detained the man while he was herding sheep, and took him into the occupied territories.
This came in the context of continued Israeli violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by launching repeated incursions into southern Syria, raiding homes, detaining civilians, bulldozing land, and carrying out shelling attacks. (QNA)
