Occupied Jerusalem, April 13 (Petra) — Israeli occupation forces stepped up raids across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Monday, searching homes and arresting 30 “wanted” Palestinians, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers breached the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif in occupied Jerusalem and performed prayers, breaking into the compound through Al Magharebah Gate under heavy escort by Israeli police.
The Islamic Waqf (Endowments) Department in Jerusalem said dozens of hardliners conducted provocative tours inside the complex as Israeli police maintained tight restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers, whose IDs were seized at the entrances.
