Ramallah, Jan. 19 (Petra) — Israeli occupation forces on Monday arrested 24 Palestinians during a wide campaign of raids across several West Bank governorates, accompanied by heavy gunfire in multiple areas of Bethlehem, Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, and Ramallah, alongside road closures and tightened military measures, said the Palestinian Prisoners Society.
Earlier Monday, the occupation army also launched a wide military operation in the southern area of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
According to Israel’s Army Radio, forces stormed southern Hebron, carried out a broad arrest campaign, imposed a curfew, and closed a number of roads.
Separately, the occupation army and the Shabak announced the start of a “military operation” in Hebron that will continue for several days, focusing on the Jabal Johar neighborhood.
