Beirut, August 07 (QNA) – The Israeli occupation renewed its attacks on southern Lebanon, targeting the town of Meiss El Jabal with artillery shelling while simultaneously firing machine guns toward the town.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli forces also set fire to the water station in the southern town of Shaqra.
In a separate development, units of the Lebanese Army overnight began reopening roads that had been blocked as a result of the latest Israeli airstrikes on the town of Al Mansouri in the Tyre district, while also working to facilitate the return of residents displaced by the attacks.
The seventh round of Rome talks between Israel and Lebanon concluded yesterday, Thursday, without reaching an agreement on the areas from which the Israeli army will withdraw in southern Lebanon. (QNA)
