Occupied Jerusalem and Ramallah, Dec. 11 (Petra) — Israeli extremist settlers on Thursday stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al Sharif in occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli occupation police.
According to the Jerusalem Islamic Awqaf Department, groups of ultra-orthodox settlers entered the compound through the Al Magharbeh gate, conducted suspicious tours across its courtyards, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals under tight police escort.
In the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple incursions across several areas, raiding and searching Palestinian homes before arresting 14 individuals.
The arrest campaign also targeted foreign solidarity activists near Ramallah, the Palestinian Prisoners Society reported.
