Rome, March 12 (QNA) – The Italian Ministry of Defense announced today that an Italian military base in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq was targeted by a missile strike overnight.
The ministry said in a post on X that a missile hit the base in Erbil, the capital of the region, without causing any deaths or injuries among the soldiers. It added that Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto was in constant contact with senior military commanders regarding the incident. (QNA)
