Irbid, May 26 (Petra) – President of Jadara University, Habis Zboon, met on Monday with Salem bin Suleiman Al-Whaibi, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jordan, to discuss ways to enhance academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides.
Zboon underscored the deep fraternal ties between Jordan and Oman and reviewed the university’s academic journey, its various programs and degree offerings, as well as efforts to develop a modern educational environment aligned with contemporary demands.
Al-Whaibi, in turn, affirmed the Omani Cultural Attaché Office’s interest in expanding areas of collaboration with distinguished Jordanian universities.
The visit concluded with a tour of several university facilities, where the Omani official was briefed on the available resources. He expressed hope for continued coordination and engagement to benefit students and further strengthen academic and cultural relations between the two countries.
